November 15, 2013 - I'm away learning new things. Please Be Respectful, Responsible, and Safe Today in Art!
The following videos are for use with today's Art classes -
Mrs. Heckenkamp (3/4H) - Folders need to be passed out because their stencils are inside. Folder helper is on the chart. Show video and then allow students to begin. Make sure names are on the back before starting!!! Put on drying rack when finished.
Mrs. Kipp's Class - (5K) - Folders need to be passed out because their storyboards are inside. Folder helper is on the chart. Show the video below. Their work is on the counter. They are to finish the backdrop for their clay animation. The larger colored papers should be glued to the tagboard pieces when they are finished. I have some of them just temporarily taped on. If they have time left over they should make a list of what clay things they need to make next time. The chart below the video may be helpful.
Mrs. Stenger's Class (2S), Ms. Engstrom's Class (1E), & Mrs. Neels' (1N) - All of these classes will be doing the same lesson. They will be using a recycled paper face to create a unique drawing. Crayons and thin markers can be used. Show video below and then example image below. Then pass out supplies. You do not need them to mess with folders today. Collect these and mark with class code. If they are too wet with glue to pile then place them on the drying rack.
Miss Hutchins' Class (3H) - We are in the middle of a creative writing and drawing project. Last week students randomly selected a crayon. They are to write a letter from the crayon to the person who would use it. We talked about this last week and got started. Folders need to be passed out because our papers are inside.
