I am very Thankful to be able to work at a job where I can be creative and share my love of Art with others everyday! I'm very Thankful to see smiling, happy faces enter the Art Room each day.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.
Perhaps stop and take a time to make a hand turkey or two!
To help us all know how quiet or loud our voices should be in the Art Room, I've created a Voice Level Chart. We will be referring to the Voice Level that is expected at different times of the Art class. For instance when Mrs. G. is talking or giving a demonstration - Voice Level 0 is expected. If we are working on a project that requires concentration - Voice Level 1 is the best choice. When we are working with partners or our teams on tasks - Voice Level 2 is acceptable. The highest Voice Level we should reach in the Art Room is Level 3. This may occur if we are having a whole class discussion or are working on a project that doesn't require much concentration to complete.
Washington has been my "Home" school for many years now. I enjoy teaching all the different students who make up this diverse school. I have taught a multitude of lessons in this building and have learned just as much from all of the students.
